First of all, I would like to tell you that you pretty much saved mine and my mother's relationship with this card...
In April, me and my mom got into a rude and nasty fight that crushed my glasses and had her say that she has disowned me, and told me that I was not her daughter anymore. Every time we tried to go near each other we were at each other's throats, and CPS was called on my mother when they found out about a threatening fight we had again. A few days later, my mother was off to a trip to the Philippines to visit her family and my ailing grandmother. Even overseas tensions were high and every thought of my mother was to despise and loathe her. I was so clouded in thoughts and stress of my mother hating me, even with her visit in P.I. Whenever she called us on our home line, I never answered the phone and had to have someone else talk to her so I don't answer it. I never sent her an e-mail. Not even once until the day before Mother's Day. Someone reminded me that Mother's Day was the day after, and I noticed my sister never sent her an e-card, nor had my dad. So, even though I was angry with my mother, and she was angry with me [as I thought], I sent her this e-card.
She replied:
"Hi! Tara,
Thank you for the Mothers day card. I'll see you guys Tuesday. Love you and miss you.
Mom...."
You don't know how much I really appreciate how this beautiful card saved our relationship. My mother is a flowery type of person, and she loves plants and nature and sentimentalism. All what this card had.
